 This is the first in a series of watercolour paintings I'm planning at the moment - it's not for university, just a personal project. The paper is slightly larger than A3. (also it's a cloudy day so please excuse the poor photo quality!)

Panda Print

So I've been doing some large screen prints (a2) using found newspaper articles, where I've recreated the photograph by layering the text from the accompanying article. It's sort of an observation of 'filler' articles in newspapers - the ones that are just there to fill space with a pretty picture. I'm showing here how the few paragraphs of text that comes with them is totally inconsequential.

I think it's amazing they printed a newspaper article about pandas eating cake...

Paper bag

Making russian dolls out of a paper bag... just some mucking around. There was a really pretty pattern on the front originally, so I also cut out the in-between spaces.
